Trace of the Existence

Drawing Performance of Trace of the Existence, Video of Performance, 50 mins

I draw horizontal lines with water by staying in one place and at the same time reaching toward the outer world. Drawing lines repeatedly, I moderate internal and external changing forces. The final image forms a circular shape. Nevertheless, I do not visibilize the entire shape of my reach so that the negative space between lines is still connected to the infinite outer world. The shape is formed by my limited physical reach, but it continues by the negative space I leave.
